Biography
Professor Yu-Chih Hou is an ophthalmologist at Department of Ophthalmology, National Taiwan University Hospital, Taipei , Taiwan. He was the Chief of Department of Ophthalmology at Taiwan Provincial Taipei Hospital, Taipei County, Taiwan. His special interests include corneal and conjunctival diseases including cataract and refractive surgery, genetic mutations in corneal dystrophies, corneal dystrophy and degeneration, infections, ulcers, tumors, dry eyes, deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty; endothelial keratoplasty. He has published around fifty papers. He is the member of The Ophthalmological Society of Taiwan and Asia Cornea Society. He has done his postgraduate training from National Taiwan University Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan; Kellogg Eye Center, Michigan University, Michigan, USA and National Taiwan University Hospital.
